Metro
- You can access the airport via Metro line 3 - Egalio/Airport (blue line). Currently, journeys are scheduled every 30 minutes to/from the airport with the following timetable. The Metro is the best way to reach the center of Athens area including Syntagma and Monastiraki.
The Shopping Center and the Duty Free Shops at Athens International Airport has a big number of stores for your last minute shopping before travel. Among the luxury and perfume stores, there is a selection of stores that specialize in Greek products, these are:

Care4bag is a luggage storage facility at the airport. It is located at the arrival level in the free access area near the Exit Door 1. It will also wrap luggage, boxes and sporting goods according to airline requirements.

Currently the section rail Piraeus-Ano Liosia is closed.

First train from Airport to Ano Liosia is at 05.26 with the following frequency -- xx:11 -- xx:26 -- xx:44
Last train form Airport to Ano Liosia is at 20:26.

The Metro & Suburban Rail train station at the airport is accessed from the departure terminal (level 1) outside the gate 2. There you can buy tickets before accessing the railway platforms. Do not forget to validate your ticket before boarding. Ticket fares to/from the airport are detailed in the following link.
Airport EXPRESS Bus Lines
The bus stop is outside gate 5 at the arrival terminal (level 0), before boarding you need to get a ticket from the kiosk at the bus stop. The following line buses are available on 24 hours basis:
